The City of Calabasas, in cooperation with Art in Public Places, is sponsoring an Art Exhibition on Sunday, November 7, 2010 at the Calabasas Library, 200 Civic Center Way (adjacent to The Commons). The exhibition will take place from 1:00p.m. to 4:00p.m. Admission is free and refreshments will be served.

The exhibition will feature special guest and noted photojournalist Gil Garcetti who will introduce his new book PARIS Women & Bicycles. The book will be on sale, and he will do a book signing. Four of the outstanding artists who currently have their pictures displayed in the Calabasas City Hall and the Library will also be on hand to talk about their work. The artists are Joe Corso, Deborah Baca, David Skinner, and Francine Matarazzo. The public will also have the opportunity to purchase the art work presented.

Through a special arrangement, the photographs of Gil Garcetti will remain on display until the end of November, and the work of the other artists until the end of the year. This program is an endeavor of the City of Calabasas and Art in Public Places in their continuing commitment of providing art that is accessible to the public throughout the city.
